I opened the Real Book of Jazz Standards and being a slow reader decided to experiment with the first 12 bars of each piece. Included is a pdf of the songs I have experimented with. Titles have been anagrammed, and each bar's chords and melodies have been played with multiple saxophones, trumpet, flute, or monologue synth and looped over themselves in Loopy HD, yes on iPad. The mixing process was one of simple automated fades, combining circles of sound as I saw fit. Welcome to bebop turned drone.
