In January 2021 I was brought to France to study "The Presentation of Improvised Music During a Pandemic" by The Bridge (www.acrossthebridges.org) and tour with Didier Petit (cello) and Edward Perraud (drums). We play this music for love, so the small audiences were familiar. Audience members were limited to "professionals" and "students" who risked being asked to prove they had a reason to be out past 6pm during the French quarantine for covid19.

From Didier Petit's Pigeon Coop in Viserny to and artists collectif in Poitiers to the end of the earth (Finisterre) to across from the Louvre, I found moments to contemplate our current pandemics and I found moments to be grateful for my breath.

Solos Pandémiques is the collection of solos I made when I had time to myself during this tour.
